Unless you specifically hire them with a salary/wages, freelance content writers are not employees. They’re just like plumbers, doctors, or landscapers – they work on their own time to help you meet your needs. It’s a working relationship…

That being said, if you hire a cheap content writer, you get what you pay for. ups:

They do if you’re hiring them on the cheap. You might find a few who know what they’re doing, but you should look for people who can write, and then see how much they charge. You’re not paying for words, you’re paying for communication, reader engagement, and marketable articles.

The problem of doing this is that you employ people that can’t create proper sentences. You can understand what they are saying, but it is not structurally correct.
