I know many people who have bloggers.com and wordpress.com blogs and eventually as you suggested they move to their own domain name.
I agree with your blogging consistency rule. I started blogging 7 days a week on my blog and noticed a huge improvement in readership. I’m now down to 5 days a week but the readers are still visiting and commenting ti’s really cool.
I’ve never had anyone write for me but perhaps when I leave my seomkt blog to improve the blogengage blog I will loo into doing that.
