Fazreen Dot Com Now Powered By Hostgator

December 21, 2009 · 23 comments

After being silent for 3 days because of the migration, now my blog will be running as usual. I’m proud to announce that my blog is now hosted by Hostgator – the best hosting for blogging.

Lee from Myblog2day dot com has thanked me because I used his link to subscribe for Hostgator hosting. My early plan is to use Hostgator on next year but suddenly something happen that made me change my mind to use Hostgator as soon as possible.

hostgator

Before this my blog was hosted at Sealserver hosting (thanks to Sealserver especially their boss – Hanif) I never had any problem with my previous hosting. I’m proud to say that Sealserver is one of the best local hosting company in Malaysia.

The reason I move my blog to Hostgator because of the unlimited bandwidth, unlimited disk space, unlimited add on domain package that offered by them. Is it good and suit my need as I run several blogs. The reason I move early from the original plan is because my blog exceeded maximum bandwidth last Friday.

I have thought that my blog is gonna exceed the bandwidth but, I didn’t thought it occurred too early. On last Friday, as usual I checked my blog stat on cpanel and surprisingly my blog received a lot of traffic on that day. The busiest day for my blog I guess.

So I browsed to Hostgator site and subscribed for a baby plan. I chose to pay monthly because I don’t have enough cash to pay for  a year or 2-years even 3-years on that moment. I use WEBHOSTING COUPON so I got free for the first month. I will upgrade the payment method later.

Then I asked Hostgator staff to help me transfered my blog because I was working on another project. Besides I know it will take hours if I transfer myself. I was also asked them to transfer my domain to them. No need to pay them for the services because it is FREE. Yes, they will help you transfer your blog and your primary domain for FREE when you choose to host with Hostgator.

Thanks also for my readers and my online buddies because their reviews on Hostgator company hosting influenced me to choose Hostgator. Yes, I can say their service is good. They respond to customer problem so fast but not all the time. You have to remember they are also people too. I’m not saying Hostgator is the best among the best Webhosting company but Hostgator company is a trusted company. You can rely on them.

I would love to hear your feedback on my blog loading time. Is it faster than before? or you feel nothing changing. Leave your feedback below. Talk to you later.

PS: If god will, I’ll announce and launch my new blog as soon as possible.

It costs $9.95/month but if you choose to pay for years then it will be more cheaper depends on how many years do you want to subscribe

Hello,

Just asking one more question. what actually is unlimited add on domain package. Is it something like fazreen.com/artis or is it something like artis.fazreen.com ?

erm. if you have any additional domain, you can add it to the existing package, and use it without needing to buy any new hosting and so on.

Thanks Aman for helping me out answer his question.

Addon domain is an additional domain that we have. As i mentioned above, I bought several domains from Godaddy which is differ from my hosting (Hostgator). I can point these domains to my hostgator hosting since they offer unlimited addon domain. So I can host number of domains in one hosting and can manage them all in one Cpanel.

Thanks for mentioning about me over here, also thanks for signing up Hostgator under my affiliate link. Fazreen, do you receive the $15 rebate too? :)

Hostgator helps to transfer only primary site, I have several blogs and websites and they will charge a fee for each site if I require them to transfer all the sites and blogs, ended up I transferred 1 by 1 myself, it took me few days to get everything done.

Anyway, everything is good now and I’m satisfy with the performance. :)

Cheers,
Lee
