What is link building? How link building can benefit blog owners? So, for those that don’t know, I’ll describe what link building is all about.

Link building is an activity which you do to point hyperlinks back to your blog from another blogs. These hyperlinks help to get traffic to your blog. Besides, they allow others to find your awesome blog, create awareness for your blog and most importantly help Search Engine to find your blog especially Google.

Why is link building important? Link building is important because blog owners want more traffic to their blog. The more traffic come mean more business. It also can lead to revenue from advertisers. Remember traffic=money!

There are two types of link building which are outgoing link and incoming link. While the blog owners hunting for incoming link, the outgoing link also important as well. Outgoing link is a link which you point out to another blog. Lets say, I put Alfredo or Benjamin blog link in this post. These are what we call outgoing link. Or we can call it exchange link. You put my link at your site then I’ll put your link at m site. But, it’s useless if you traded links with a spam sites or sites that are totally unrelated to your site. It is not necessary to point out links to another site but you can also point out links to your own sites. I mean, when you’re writing a post you can insert a link to your old post or another page in your sites.

Building backlinks by using blog commenting strategies to improve your search engine ranking for certain profitable keywords can be very interesting. But, be careful, you might be mark as a spam if you use keyword for your name while commenting. There are some ethics on commenting.

2. Guest Posting

Guest posting could bring you more traffic besides you can have one solid quality backlink. You will get more exposure and even potential readers to your blog. I have been guest posting in few blogs (Myblog2day, Asswass, and Thebadblogger). So how about you?

3. Article Marketing

There are many article directories nowadays. Article marketing is quite similar to guest posting. You write an article then submit it to article directory. Then you will get quality backlink! Besides, if peoples use your article in their sites, you will get another backlinks. Without you realizing, you have build backlinks automatically. But make sure, you don’t write crappy article.

How link building can help you make money blogging?

In order to make money blogging, you have to increase your link building. The more backlinks you gain the more chances you to be top in search engine result(SERPS) for certain keywords. That’s mean you will get more exposure and traffic to your blog. Bear in mind, without traffic your blog will never make money.
