One important thing to remember here is relevancy. All the links linking back to your blog should be within the same niche and category to achieve the greatest results with your SERP’s.

If you blog about hotdogs look for backlinks they are related to hotdogs. So in general stick to blog commenting that is within your niche.

Usually I did all the 3 ways above, but I found that guest posting will be the best method to get strong quality backlinks. Thanks for guest posting in my blog last few months too.
