Last night, I had a chit chat with my old friend. The day before yesterday, he pm me at yahoo messenger and leaved his phone number. He asked for a help. It’s about domain buying. I’m wondering why he want to buy a domain since he is totally not a blogger or an internet marketer. So I asked him several questions to know his intention.
Our conversation :
I just translated it to English
Him: Where did you buy your domain?
Me: Godaddy and Sealserver. Most of them I bought at Godaddy.
Him: Can you give me the Godaddy URL?
Me: http://www.godaddy.com
Him: Ok thank you!
Me: Why you suddenly want to buy a domain?
Him: To do adsense. Do you know what is adsense?
Me: Of course I know.
Him: How much do you earn from adsense?
Me: Not much. Just a little.
Him: I just try adsense with my friend. We only manage to get $60 till now.
Me: Wow! Cool. How long have you been doing adsense?
Him: Only two months.
I guess something’s wrong here
Me: Can I see your site which is you’re putting your adsense code?
Him: http://www.zonskodeng.com
I visited his site. Damn! His site(blogspot) is full with sexy female pictures and several forex articles.
Me: Did you receive an adsense pin form google yet?
Guess what…
Him: Not yet…By the way what is it?
Hahahaha..He never know about the pin.
Google will send you an adsense pin through mail when your account reach $10.
Him: I asked my other friend who is an adsense player to teach me about adsense..but he teached me half way. He manages to get around $2k per month from adsense that’s why I asked him to teach me. But he refused.
Me: oh i see..
In my mind I don’t believe at all what he is talking about.
Then he start to ask me my income that I never reveal till today.
Him: How much your adsense earning?
Me: Hmm..not much although I have been in adsense for one and a half year.
Him: Maybe you are lack of promoting
What the f**k! He is new in this area and dare to talk about promoting. He even don’t know about adsense pin too!
Me: Not really. I’m not focusing on adsense. I’m doing another thing. As you see, I’m a blogger who blogging at my own domain and my own blog.
Him: Could you really make money by blogging?
See, he don’t know nothing about make money online
Me: Hmm..of course I can. I earned money from private advertising, affiliate and other things except adsense.
Him: How? I’m excited to know.
Me: Easy way or hard way?
Him: Show me the easy way only lol.
Bullshit! This is what we call a newbie who want to make money online and don’t know the meaning of internet entrepreneur.
Me: I can’t show you how to make huge money but I can show you how to teach yourself to learn about making money online and blogging. It takes time because I don’t have a short cut(never had).
Him: Ok. It sounds difficult. Let me see first. Will find you if I want to learn.

If you are a newbie
…..don’t try to talk hype about making money online because you don’t know nothing and you don’t see the real world of make money online yet.
…..just don’t believe your friend 100% though he could tell you he make huge money online. The truth is they can totally fake it!
…..you must willing to sacrifice your time to build your online authority. No short cut to succeed! Remember that.

That’s what most of the people ask out there. Most of the oldish people don’t believe it…my parents know that I earn money online..and now on every month they ask me how much I make..haha!

Your parents are just like mine..They know what I’m doing..They did ask me at the end of the month how much I earn..They also did tell their friends and relatives that I’m a blogger…
Haha, that’s great! At least our parents are proud of us, my parents told friends and relatives that I made money online. I didn’t earn much, but when it converts to the currency in my country, that’s considered a good income.

I’m wondering how he can make money with adsense even without the knowledge of using google to search for “GoDaddy”, and not knowing that you can make money through blogging.
Maybe he joined some Adsense Quick Rich Scheme? But never heard of it before yet.
I’m not sure about that..I think he doesn’t make any penny at all with adsense since he only join adsense for two months…It’s not easy to make money through adsense..Unless we’re very expert getting our page in front of SERPS to drive unique visitors to our sites…

I enjoy reading this post and your conversation with the newbie. We know, newbie who doesn’t know anything about make money online, they always ask for something simple to make money.
Make money online is not a day, a week or a year task, it could take you few years to establish your blog unless you have some sifu who teaches you step-by-step, but who would do that for you for FREE? If he takes time to teach you step-by-step, why not he does other thing to make more money?
I think he is bull shitting about his friend is making $2k per month, or his friends is trying to lie him or to take advantage of him. I’d experienced it before, I was just lazy to entertain. lol!
