Last few days were challenging day for me. I have searched too many free themes and modified them. I started to fire out my Photoshop and change whatever I want. I’m also coding a little bit. Sometimes, I couldn’t get enough sleep. I didn’t realize about the times. Just keep doing on my work. It was interesting when editing or modifying the themes. Can I be a web developer? I’m going into that. Wish me luck! Actually I try to make simple, clear, eye grabber and easy navigate themes for my blog. It seems so hard to find a great idea. And it takes a lot of times to make it. I never make any design to publish for public but if I have chance I want to publish it.
Ok, back to my post title (make money with design). Who said that designer can not make money online? There is lots of designer making money online. From expert designer to amateur designer can make money online. One of them is our local graphic designer luvlee who run cheapest-design.com. I knew about her (she is a girl) when I came across her website. I stuck at her blog. Her design is so nice. Then an idea comes across in my head, if she can make money online with her design why not I give a try. I’m not deciding to review about her but it was my thought.
This is what will call make money online with your service. In this case I talk about design service but there are lots of service you can do depend on your expertise. I only discuss about design service. Maybe, I will post others service later. Stay tune with me. If you like to play around with photoshop, illustrator and etc, offering design service can be the best for you to make money online. You can offer banner design, logo design, minisite design or web design.
How to promote your design?
At first if you are new in designing or don’t confident about your design, just give free design to your friends or your relatives. Try to design banner, logo or something for free. Comment you got from them can define your design quality hence can improve your skill design. You also can enter design competition. If you are lucky, your design can be a winner. Your design can be established from that. Maybe your design will be bought by someone who is interested. You can submit your design in any website that offers submitting. (pls search via Google). Users will not looking for the designer but they are looking for the design. Hence they will click on the design and for sure it links to your page or blog. In other words it brings visitors and traffic to your blog. Sound great huh? If your design is unique more traffic will click on your design. After that they will look who is the designer and they will visit your blog to find out who you are and your portfolio. At that time your design has stand out from the crowd. Your designs catch their eye. If they satisfy with your design, maybe they will hire you to design something.
Make money with your design
Do you know what? Most of the designers make a lot of money by using their creativity to design something. This type of service will make money for a long term. If your design still has demand you still can make money for 2 years, 3 years or forever. In my opinion, design service never ended. Everyday people make blog and website. Most of them need good design for their website and blog. Good design blog can give a good impression for visitors. So what I’m trying to say is design service has good demand in internet market. How much you can earn for designing? It is up to you. The price is yours. Someone who designs wordpress themes (just design not coding!) can earn 300USD for one theme only. How much you can earn if you design 10 themes? You calculate yourself.
I warn you
I warn you, if you are not interested in design don’t force yourself because it will kick your ass back. Do whatever you like and turn it into money. If you want to know your interest simply answer this question:
What is the thing you do that you never feel tired or bored?
If you can find out what it is then use your creativity to convert it become your income stream. Good Luck !

Web designing is serious business. It’s not just about learning your way into Photoshop but knowing the specific needs every every client.
For bloggers and marketeers for example, we need designs that are reader-friendly, functional for ads and Google adsense optimized. Then, that requirement is different too if you have a company for a client.
My suggestion? Pick a niche in your design business. It’s easier and you can focus on a particular aspect. I recommend you focus on blog designs. There’s a huge demand and if you get successful enough, you won’t need to look for clients. They’ll be knowcking on your mail every day
