The easiest answer to why link building is important is that it gets more people to see my site. However, link building also implies direct action, doing something. This is a better alternative to hoping and waiting for other websites to discover what’s on one of my sites.
By purposefully link building, I’m taking a proactive approach on getting my site seen by blog visitors and search engines.
Why you need it? It all comes down to traffic. It has been said before, but it is true. The best site in the world is meaningless if no one visits it.
Google’s page rank is another factor. While their algorithms are not public knowledge, it makes sense that getting a link from a higher ranking site, will improve the ranking of the site being linked to.
Then there is the question of quality and quantity. The days of creating a bunch of garbage sites that contain nothing but links to get better ranking are over. Getting links from several high-quality sites does make a difference. The more quality sites linking to a page, the better!
PS: Currently, I’m having a problem with an Internet Service Provider. I can only get myself online at KFC or via public wifi. From today onwards I will be at my hometown which is quite far from town so that’s why I can’t online via current ISP. I need another ISP to be installed at my home. It may take less than 2 weeks (I hope so) to get the new ISP. I have decided to write several articles that will be set to publish itself. I hope you enjoy the posts while I get my new ISP.

Yes link building is very important for get better rank on google, but we have to choose the perfect link for our blog.

I mean those link that can help you for better rank on search engine, You can get better link by .gov, .org sites, also the link that you get from the similar niche of your blog.
For me, it’s only for ranking better on search engine. But it’s damn hard to get a dofollow link now. I prefer link love list that other bloggers are doing now

Link building is one of the most importent parts in maintaining a blog. Without building back links you wont rank high in search engines and most importent wont get any traffic. Getting backlinks from high authority sites is a plus and using anchor texts is also a plus if you want to rank for a keyword.
